Welcome,
My name is Julia Dencker — Peace Consultant and Conflict Resolution Trainer.
I support organizations in the social sector, politics, and the NGO landscape in systematically addressing conflict, overload, and tension in collaboration and leadership — translating them into stable, resilient, and effective team structures.

Professional Background
With academic degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies (M.A.) and Social Sciences (B.A.) - both from the OvGU Magdeburg, as well as a study abroad at Wroclaw University in Sociology - Intercultural Mediation (M.A.), I have been working as a freelance conflict resolution trainer and peace consultant since 2023. Early in my career, I held a leadership position in the fast-fashion industry with responsibility for both staff and revenue—an experience that continues to shape my work alongside my later academic training.
Today, I integrate evidence-based, human-centered leadership approaches with peace and conflict research, grounded practical experience in organizational development, and psychosocial conflict analysis. I primarily support organizations in the social sector, politics, and the NGO landscape, working online and in-house in both German and English.
Mission & Vision
My mission is not merely to calm conflict, but to make it understandable, workable, and responsibly held. I support organizations in engaging with tension, overload, and entrenched relational patterns in ways that foster clarity, psychological safety, and effective leadership.
My vision is a working world in which conflict competence is recognized as a key driver of sustainable impact and performance. For me, peaceful action grounded in deep self-reflection and conflict competence forms the foundation for healthy collaboration, sound decision-making, and leadership that strengthens people rather than burning them out.

In my work, I combine:
Peace and Conflict Research
Organizational Development
Psychosocial Conflict Analysis & Consulting
Embodiment & Emotional Competence
Trauma-Informed Leadership Practice
Solution-Focused Conflict Management
Nonviolent Communication
Peaceful Leadership Framework
Diversity & Inclusion

My Approach to Conflict Work
I see conflict as a signal—highlighting where something within us or within a system wants to be noticed, felt, or addressed. Conflicts often appear where we are triggered, experience uncomfortable emotions, or get stuck in recurring thoughts. Rather than avoiding or trying to “fix” these experiences, I focus on creating spaces where they can be acknowledged and allowed.
Through presence and acceptance, true understanding emerges. For me, conflict work is not about eliminating tension, but about strengthening the capacity to stay in contact with discomfort without losing your inner peace each time.

My Role in the Process
My role is to provide clear frameworks and safe containers for self-exploration and conflict work, grounded in thorough conflict analysis. Solutions do not come from me—they emerge from the organization and the people involved. I guide your processes in a way that enables personal responsibility and allows sustainable change to grow from within.
Where conflicts have escalated because important issues remained unspoken, I may—when the process allows—take on the role of naming what is present in the room. Not to provoke, but to create space for growth where silence has so far blocked it. Conflict resolution is rarely comfortable, but it is necessary if we truly want to transform and grow, both individually and collectively.

You are ready to embrace self-reflection and conflict competence as integral to professional work and leadership.
You recognize that the human element is just as crucial for healthy performance as numbers, data, and facts.
You take responsibility for your team—even in uncomfortable situations.
You are open to new, sometimes unconventional methods.
You are truly ready to resolve existing conflicts.
You understand that we are in the midst of a profound societal shift in values and want to consciously choose the future you help shape.
You are in the right place if:
My Working Style
Direct, clear, and deliberately challenging
Analytical and structured
Trauma-informed, nonviolent, and people-centered
Training to be inclusive in language and approach, with a growing decolonial awareness
Self-reflective, open to learning, and transparent about boundaries
Clear in framework, open in process
The Peaceful Path
Humanities way to sustainable peace.
